these astonishing ‘cloud cities’ can currently be visited - and experienced - in berlin’s ‘hamburger bahnhof - museum für gegenwart’. they have been created by the argentinean architect saraceno, who designed a whole series of ‘biospheres’, as he likes to call the spiderweb-like objects. in case his art reminds you of olafur eliasson, you’re absolutely right: they both follow the [huge] footsteps of buckminster fuller.
